TRANSITIONS

TRANSITIONS - In these works, there is a common exploration of potential imaginations in spatial construction, in particular in relation to the body. The exhibition challenges our pre-existing conceptions of what art objects can be: how to read them and interact with them. The show further questions how performance is materialised and how space is formulated through various individual lines of inquiries, communal interactions with other people, spaces, and contemporary issues. Themes include environmentalism, consumerism, as well as the definition and the role of art in society.

Livia Spinolo presents work that creates a visual illusion challenging the viewer’s sense of an orderly world and the knowledge of gravity.
