The Fall of the Gods explores not sudden collapse, but the silent process of transformation: when matter loses its presumed stability and reveals its fragile, transient nature.

Livia Spinolo’s works move through tension, alteration, fracture, and accumulation, connecting the behaviour of matter with the vulnerability of the contemporary individual.

The “gods” are not mythological figures, but symbols of control, permanence, and human mastery over time and nature. Their fall reveals a shared fragility.

Here, instability is not understood as loss, but as an inevitable condition of life, memory, and transformation.
